About
TipTop is a dynamic mobile app that reimagines the daily walking experience through innovative and user-centric design. The app combines elements of e-commerce, social engagement, and gamification to create a platform where users can explore, discover, and purchase NFT’s in a more interactive and engaging manner. By integrating community-driven content, personalized recommendations, and real-time social interactions, TipTop aims to make walking not just a sport but an enjoyable and immersive experience. The concept behind TipTop was to blend entertainment with web3 technologies, targeting a tech-savvy audience that values both connectivity and convenience in their daily habits.
Branding
The TipTop logo was designed as a bold visual expression of the app’s core values: movement, progress, and discovery. Central to the identity are forward-facing arrows—symbolizing momentum and the app’s mission to transform walking into an engaging, social experience. A vibrant, gradient palette speaks to a tech-savvy, youthful audience, while modern typography ensures clarity and adaptability across platforms. This system-level approach to branding reflects TipTop’s vision: to inspire continuous exploration through smart, dynamic design.

My Approach & Strategy
As Design Director, I led the end-to-end product and marketing design for a step-counting app/game, overseeing the creation of a 200+ screen UI and an animated campaign to drive user engagement. I directed cross-functional teams across product, motion design, and marketing to deliver a cohesive, gamified user experience that balanced playfulness with clarity. The interface featured a digital collectibles library and intuitive navigation, while the animated campaign amplified the app’s unique features, driving awareness and downloads. Grounded in user insights, the design system and storytelling strategy worked together to enhance usability, consistency, and brand impact across all touchpoints.

This project exemplified my ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, translate complex ideas into intuitive design systems, and align creative execution with strategic business goals. By uniting product and marketing under a cohesive vision, we delivered a high-impact experience that not only delighted users but also strengthened the brand’s market presence. It reinforced my belief that great design is not just about aesthetics—it's a powerful driver of engagement, growth, and lasting user loyalty.
